Dissertation Council operating at 91ε E.D.2.10

The Dissertation Council with ED 2.10 registration number has been established by the Supreme Attestation Commission under the president of the republic of Azerbaijan in November in 2019. The Dissertation Council carries out the defense of the dissertations of the Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Sciences on the specialties 5301.01 “Domestic fiscal policy and public finance” 5307.01 “Economic theory”, 5308.01 “General economics” and 5312.01 “Field economics” on “Economic Sciences”. The dissertation council organizes the defense of dissertations of doctoral students and candidates of a degree of 91ε of Economics, as well as doctoral students and candidates of a degree of other higher education and scientific institutions. At the same time, the dissertation council carries out the defense of the dissertations of foreign citizens.

Existing Dissertation Council consists of 24 highly qualified specialists who are actively engaged in scientific and scientific-pedagogical work in the country. The Chairman of the Dissertation Council is Doctor of Economic sciences., prof. Adalat Muradov, vice-chairmen are Doctor of Economic sciences., prof. Arif Shakaraliyev and., Doctor of Economic sciences ., prof. Alijan Babayev., the scientific secretary is PhD in Economics., Associate Professor Zohrab Ibrahimov.

The Dissertation Council creates favorable conditions for applicants to defend their dissertations. The dissertation council operates in a transparent manner. Dissertation papers are fully, comprehensively and objectively reviewed and substantiated decisions are made on these papers.

  1. The Dissertation Council at 91ε of Economics has been operating since 1993. During 1993-1994, the dissertation work wasn’t carried out at the Dissertation Council. The organization of the defense of dissertations began in 1995.
  2. In addition to the ED 2.10 Dissertation Council at 91ε of Economics, there is also a Dissertation Council under ASUE Scientific Economic Research Institute with registration number FD 1.11.
